About

As a multidisciplinary thinker who likes to understand deeper principles behind the world works, my mind tends to gravitate towards how people understand and use technology, both as individuals and within organizations. My liberal arts degree from Ripon College and master of science in educational psychology from University of Wisconsin – Madison were an unconventional but fruitful foundation for a career in enterprise software and business analytics that has included roles at Salesforce and The University of Chicago's Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering.

My favorite professional accomplishments all involve figuring out how to take existing processes, software, and teams and make them successful by getting all of those elements to work together in harmony with reasonable measurement and strong leadership. I have done this in the context of multiple industries, scales, and with both business and technical teams.

Complementary to my professional calling, my personal interests are largely analog: regular walks in nature, meeting friends at craft breweries, and an occasional trip to a stationery store to buy letterpress cards. Across all domains, I endeavor to live out values grounded in my beliefs and supported by my family and faith community.
